The story of Poscura began with a deeply personal turning point in my own life. As a software engineer, I had spent years working long hours at a desk, rarely moving and often ignoring the strain building in my neck and back. Eventually, the consequences caught up with me: I developed a severe neck condition that led to surgery in May 2022.

During recovery, I finally understood just how much damage poor posture and prolonged sedentary work can cause. That period forced me to slow down, reflect, and recognize a powerful truth —technology, when used thoughtfully, could help prevent exactly the kind of condition I had endured.

Driven by this realization, I started exploring how emerging technologies—computer vision, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and more recently, generative AI—could encourage healthier posture and movement habits. I reached out to musculoskeletal experts within my network and gained deep insights into MSK treatment and prevention. Their expertise blended perfectly with our early concept and sharpened the vision for what this solution could become.

Everything changed when we built our first prototype. For the first time, we could capture body movements through a simple camera and evaluate how closely they matched ideal motion patterns. It was a breakthrough—a clear, tangible demonstration of how technology could guide people toward better posture in real time. That prototype became the technological heart of what would eventually evolve into Poscura

Encouraged by its potential, we began gathering professional collaboration and financial backing to transform this idea into a real product that could help people everywhere. After months of development, refinement, and testing, we proudly launched the first version of Poscura in May 2026. Since then, it has continued to evolve, improving steadily as we work to deliver even more value to users.

What started as a personal struggle has grown into something much larger: a mission to help millions avoid the pain I once faced, and to empower people everywhere with a smarter, healthier, AI-driven way to care for their posture.
